Spiraling crude prices and global warming concerns forced exploration in "green energy" generation technologies.Wind power is one of the alternate energy generation process being currently investigated.Giant wind turbines are emerging in   USA .In addition small wind generators are also increasingly being utilized in rural and urban areas. According to he American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), a Washington-based trade organization the installed capacity of small wind residential generators has nearly tripled for 1300KW in 2006 to the current capacity of 3000KW.In addition there has been a tripling of number of residential installations; from 400 in 2006 to nearly 1200 units in 2008.Echoing the sentiment Mark Durrenberger, president and founder of New England Breeze says that he is being flooded with enquiries and requests for wind power equipment installation.
