Hi i find your web site very interesting and full of useful info.
i have 3 wind generators/turbines and 4 solar panels my self and i run my 2 tvs and lights on them, so i am saving money and help to save the Thanks Steve.

This sounds like a great project to start working on! I’ve never been that practically minded, so this would probably be quite difficult for me, but I’d definitely learn a lot and get some cheaper energy too!

I wonder what is more cost-efficient: wind or solar. I think wind generators are cheaper to build (or buy). Of course it needs wind, but can it do better than a solar panel ? For a long time I've been interested in solar panels and waiting for technology improvements to make it cheaper for a DIY project.
