About

Hi and Welcome to Green Energy Trends!

Many could argue that never before has the world faced such a difficult challenge.   With tensions continuing to rise in the Middle East, the surging demand for scarce resources from emerging and developed economies alike and our environment suffering like never before as a result, the rapid implementation of renewable energy and energy saving technology is critical to our future.  While it may sound overly optimistic, possibly borderline naive, I believe the answer to much of world’s problems lies in the energy of the sun of the wind and of the ocean.  I started Green Energy Trends to do my part in helping to create awareness of the emerging technologies in green energy, insight into investing in these companies as well as keep tabs on what our government is doing (or not doing) to achieve these important goals.  Hopefully we’ll generate some lively and thought provoking discussions along the way!

The site is broken out into two parts - the Main Site and the Green Stream.  The main site features full length articles on everything from Energy Trends (solar, wind, biofuels, marine turbines, algae, etc), to Transportation (electric hybrid cars), to Living ("greening" your home, etc), to Business (what businesses are doing to go green and which are leading the way), to Investing (how to invest in companies leading the way in green technologies) and finally Politics (keeping tabs on government policies).  The site will also include some interesting videos and the latest can be seen in the sidebar of the main site with the archives here.

The Green Stream, is a Twitter like series of short posts from various authors and is designed to keep tabs on interesting news stories developing in the world of green energy.

Be sure to sign up for the RSS feed for both the main site and the Green Stream so you don’t miss anything!

Thank you for stopping by,

Tate Dwinnell, Founder of Green Energy Trends
